Director of Project Management – US

The Bridgetree Director of Project Management is experienced in assembling, leading, and monitoring a high-impact project management team supporting multiple large client accounts and programs.  They must have the ability to delegate effectively, identify risks, set a sharp vision, drive team and client engagements, and provide coherent, concise reporting to clients, team members, and executives.  They must understand how to identify, measure, and utilize key performance indicators (KPI) to drive incremental individual and departmental improvement.

  • Minimal travel required, which may require overnight stays
  • Position reports to the VP of Technology


  • Oversees all Technology Project Management operations
  • Leads and provides ownership and accountability for all Project Management outcomes
  • Lead all projects and execute in accordance with company software development lifecycle (SDLC) standards, guidelines, and audit requirements
  • Delivers project and capacity status on demand to a variety of audiences
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinates with peers to align and execute cross-departmental goals and functions
  • Uses data, such as KPIs, to conduct quarterly business reviews with internal and external stakeholders
  • Responsible for building and maintaining a departmental budget, forecasts, cost plans, resource management, capacity planning of direct reports
  • Directs project managers to provide capacity planning for individual projects
  • Demonstrates strategic thought leadership with company directors and executive team with roadmaps and opportunities for growth
  • Requires project documentation, including project charters, project plans, RFPs, estimations, process maps, and business requirements of project managers for each project
  • Maintains up-to-date standards for project management capabilities, best practices, governance processes, and tools for project management and delivery
  • Coaches, mentors, and develops a high performing Project Management team consisting of Program Managers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters
  • Handles aggressive timelines, clients, and demands for large scale projects
  • Focuses on portfolio profitability across the enterprise and drive strategies to reduce internal costs and increase margins for the organization leveraging internal tools


  • Minimum 12+ years practical experience at varying levels of project / program / portfolio management, driving technology for mid-to-large scale clients
  • Minimum 3+ years in program management or director role
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, technical, or related field
  • Experience managing complex cross-functional IT project portfolios and coordination across multiple projects and deliverables
  • Outstanding people and leadership skills to lead, motivate, and guide project management team members and the ability to network, build relationships, and drive effective decision-making across multiple functions and levels within the organization
  • Strong proficiency in handling multiple high-priority tasks, projects, interdependencies, escalations, and teams concurrently
  • Proven experience in data and technology projects
