Sr. Systems and Network Administrator – US

We are seeking a full-time Sr. Systems and Network Administrator who will be responsible for general systems and network administration including Windows Server administration, Hyper-V, Active Directory, Backup Administration, Networking, Firewalls, and Office365 support. The role will consist primarily of enterprise support and administration, system provisioning, and application management with some end-user support including security and access. There is an expectation that the role will work towards Azure cloud certification during the first year of employment. 

 Bridgetree’s environment spans two co-located physical datacenters and the Azure public cloud as well as associated integrations with multiple public SaaS platforms including Office365 and Snowflake. Bridgetree primarily utilizes the Microsoft product stack along with Ubuntu Server for some infrastructure components and data analytics toolsets.

  • Install, and maintain Windows Server 2012R2 - 2019, IIS, SQL, Active Directory, Hyper-V, Office365, Exchange, and related Microsoft technologies.
  • Configure security and access utilizing Microsoft Active Directory & Azure Active Directory.
  • Assist end-users with endpoint administration and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain backup and recovery processes.
  • Network switch and firewall administration.
  • Respond to and resolve production network and system outages.
  • Network and Systems Performance monitoring.


    Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of sys admin experience in an enterprise Microsoft environment including:
  • 3+ years of enterprise network administration.
  • 2+ years of experience managing Office365, Exchange Online, and Azure Active Directory
  • Solid understanding of Disaster Recovery, backups
  • Solid understanding of Active Directory administration and group policy
  • Solid understanding of network security concepts and technologies
  • Experience with Powershell scripting.
  • Ability to research and work independently as needed, prioritize tasks, and track multiple projects is a vital requirement.
    Preferred Qualifications:
  • MCITP/MCSE/MCSA Windows Server certification or equivalent.
  • AZ-900 Certification
  • AZ-104 Certification
  • Experience working in environments handling regulated data (PCI, HIPAA, etc.)
  • Experience administering Ubuntu Server.
  • BS/AS Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
